We got hitched!

Hey everyone! I’m so sorry for the silence here, its been a busy busy summer but I had to pop in with a quick update. My handsome park ranger Andrew Vietze and I got married on August 2nd at his duty station on Daicey Pond in Baxter State Park. Its also the spot where we first met in September 2021.

I'm not sure we can quite call it an elopement because we planned it - so we took to calling it a "guerrilla" ceremony, with just an officiant and the legally required 2 witnesses, one of whom is also a photographer. (Thanks for the lovely photos Jennifer Smith-Mayo!)

We didn't want any of the classic challenges of a big wedding, including the budget and for anyone to feel left out, but we are sincerely so appreciative of all the support and well wishes!

Daicey Pond is a really special place for us, in my home state of Maine, and I've been such a lucky lady to live there with Andy for the past 3 seasons. It's where our story began. The short version is that my leaky tent (during a very rainy week) brought me to the steps of his ranger station. The rest, as they say, is history.

We have had 3 years of adventure together and I look forward to many more. Thank you for your unconditional love and support my darling, here's to the future!
